Every monitored zone sits in an asset register — what is planted, where, on which irrigation line, against which baseline. Measurement is scheduled, not requested: satellite indices and in-ground telemetry arrive on their own cadence, and each reading is written as measured. Nothing in the chain is back-dated.

When a zone departs from its own baseline, that is an exception — not a threshold borrowed from another climate. Verification comes before escalation: an index that falls from orbit is cross-checked against what the probes in that soil report, because the two failing together means something different from either failing alone. An exception that survives verification becomes a corrective instruction for the grounds team, naming the zone and the action.

What remains afterwards is the point: a dated record of what was measured, what was flagged, what was instructed, and what the following measurements showed. That audit trail is the client’s, exportable on request, and it is what a risk assessment on a consequential landscape can actually be built on.
